I have been playing for a number of years, never wanted to be a star or "Guitar God" just a working musician. I love guitar! While I have Jazz history in my family ("Specs" Charles Wright was my uncle}, I just wanted to play. After playing with the "Broad Street Gang" in Philly in the early 70s I joined the Army Bands Program and toured Europe as an Army guitar player for nearly six years.I WISH I HAD A GUITAR LIKE THE SE STUDIO IN THOSE YEARS! This is the most comfortable, accurately intoned and versatile guitar I have ever played (and I have played a lot of guitars).PRS is the new standard for quality guitars whether American or Indonesian made. Don't get caught up on where an instrument is made, judge by quality, sound and playability. The PRS SE Studio is an instrument worth investing in, that is, if playing and quality is important to you and not chasing brands.

This guitar looks great, plays great and sounds great. It's my 4th PRS from zZounds and they have all been great guitars. This is the best one so far. I got the charcoal cherry burst and it's the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. I can't thank zZounds enough. If it wasn't for their 18 month payment plan I never could have afforded this guitar. I've bought 12 guitars from zZounds and I've never had a problem with any of them.

The outer shipping box looked a little rough but for two days shipping I was a little concerned but and couldn't complain. Now the guitar.PERFECT ! No blemishes or dings! A true PRS as far as quality is concerned. The guitar was beautiful and played perfectly right out of the box. The PUPs are amazing in that they cover a broad spectrum of tones from classic to smooth Jazz (which is what I play}. I have two other PRS guitars and was not happy with the edges of the fret work. This guitar is as smooth as your first tailor made suit. Great neck, great fretwork and AMAZING pick ups!
Musical Background:
Former Professional now just part time for therapy.
Musical Style:
I play everything except RAP and Country. I hate RAP and I don't under the country experience.I play smooth Jazz and Blues.

This is my first purchase from zZounds and I am absolutely impressed with the service and quality of the product. This will be my third PRS SE and by far the best. The other two (from a competitor) were great guitars but one had the sound I wanted, and the other had the feel I wanted. The SE Studio had both! Versatility and Warmth in one package! From Spank to Smooth Jazz, and the neck OMG! Quality was unmatched and Zounds sent me an outstanding guitar. This PRS is absolutely perfect for the gigging musician, it can cover any style, and the rest is up to you.
Musical Background:
Six years as an Army Bandsman Guitarist, professional musician for eleven years, now part time.
Musical Style:
I prefer R&B and Smooth Jazz but I have a history in Rock and Blues.
