Ok, first, I think this guitar LOOKS cool. I went with the gun metal gray version with the rosewood fretboard. Fit and finish is top.notch. Fretwork is perfect. The finish on the maple neck is weird. It al.ost feels raw but it's less smooth than raw maple? I may throw a coat of tung oil on the back, because that feels better than what we finish they used on it.Second, very nice weight for a strat style guitar. I would guess on the low end of 7 pounds. Third, EXTREMELY resonant with very good sustain. An open E chord easily rang out for over 20 seconds. I've got set necks that don't do that. 4th, took it out of the box and gig bag, tuned it up, plugged it in, and just played. Set up was perfect for ME. Maybe a little.high for you, slight relief int he neck, which I prefer. Stayed in tune the entire hour I played. Picked it back up later tonight and had to tweak the G string a bit, but that's it.5th. Saves the best for last. These pickups are mind blowingly good.I think they're the sound people are after when they run good strat pickups through a Klon or Tubescreamer, but sans pedal. They're tuned perfect to be thicker, more mid rangy, and hotter than a strat style pickup. They really sing, but they can also twang. Open chords have almost an SG like bite to them, but with twang. I can't do it justice with words.I absolutely love this guitar. I'm a huge fan of weird pickups, P90s, firebirds, mini pafs, staples, Franz soap bars, even Wide Range HBs. These double Ds bounce nicely. They swing to and fro. And they get bright without cutting your head off. I felt at home with this guitar from the moment I picked it up and enjoyed every single switch position and pickup combo on it, which is rare for me. I usually do. Not care for positions. 2 and 4, aka the "in between" sound. These a quacky, but maintain a nice fat, round bottom.

I purchased a PRS NF3 several months ago and was my first PRS ever.Fantastic guitar ,flawless ,had a lot of fun playing it.So much fun I wanted another ,but with a rosewood fingerboard and not having any luck.Guitar number one showed up with worst fret sprout I’ve ever experienced, high frets, loose frets, trem wax so loose was rattling like a sitar, nut was not properly cut and the neck shape was totally different from my other one ,not to mention the wood just looked hideous.Number two was supposed to be inspected.Had a inspected tag ,but is no way another guitar player would pass this one either.Fret sprout, high frets, finish is cracking on the body between bridge and strap button.Feels like a Chinese Squire ,actually the Squire probably plays better, feels less cheap.Trying for number three ,but finding PRS SE models are rarely playable or decent quality,I just got lucky with first one
