I like humbucker guitars. I became interested in PRS guitars from listening to Carlos Santana. The SE CE 24 is my third PRS. I have the SE 245 and a CE.24. To me the SE CE 24 guitar has great tone in all 3 positions and choice I coil tap and/ or humbucker.I play blues, classic rock, and country, and hymns.Been playing over 50 years. If you're PRS curious, I recommend the SE CR 24. It is well worth the low cost. The neck is smooth and feels good in the hand. Set up was good out of the box. Just needed to be tuned and tweaked to my preference. Stays in tune. I don't use the tremolo arm much. I trem with my fingers mostly. I have been a zZounds customer for a few years. Purchased many guitars, amps,.and accessories here.

I have liked and owned PRS since 1995. No doubt PRS is putting more thought into their guitars for players. The Se CE is one of the nicest guitars in this price range I have seen. Comfort , feel , the neck , sound , playability - quality is there in this guitar. From someone seriously starting out to seasoned player , I don’t think you can go wrong buying this. I seriously see the SE CE 24 becoming a demand guitar and the price increasing. Yes - in my opinion it is worth it and you will play it regularly and gig it too. Go find it in a shop-try it out , I’m sure you will soon be bringing it home or buying it from zZounds.Best purchase and guitar I have seen in awhile !

This is my 2nd PRS I bought from zZounds. I got it delivered at my doorstep the very next day. This guitar was ready to play right out of the box. I didn't have to do anything to it except tune it up just a little and it was ready to play. The action was perfect, nice and low just how I like it. The guitar is beautiful and the fit and finish is perfect. The pickups sound great. I can't find not one thing wrong with this guitar. If you are thinking about buying one get it. I promise you won't be disappointed. I bought the blood orange one and it is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice.

I bought this guitar blemished for a fairly good discount and was a little skeptical. It is absolutely amazing. I found 2 very barely noticeable dings. The guitar looks and sounds better than advertised to me. Very happy with this purchase.

The good The sunburst vintage looks beautiful The case is nicely padded The action is low The bad The frets are noticeably sharp The neck feels dry The ugly Mine being a blemished model I didn’t know what to expect and it turns out the model I bought doesn’t have a bolt to hold the input jack in place, so until I buy one I can’t plug in and test out the pickups or electronics I realize people are saying this is a “value model” prs and honestly I wouldn’t even consider it a value even paying the blemish price, having sharp frets and a bolt-on uncomfortable neck on a 700 dollar guitar is a definite no go for me, and then having to deal with the no bolt issue; imagine buying this brand new and having this happen. I would consider other guitars in this price range before committing and see if you can get it cheaper than 699 Also don’t make the same mistake as I did and see the price tag and immediately buy a guitar; do your research. Because I didn’t do mine and ask why the price was what it was, I have a guitar essentially without an input jack lol and though it’s not a deal breaker it’s just inconvenient save yourself the trouble
