I really enjoy playing this guitar. It’s very versatile and can cover just about any genre. It plays and feels excellent and is built with the quality and attention to detail you would expect from PRS USA. Nothing feels cheap. The pickups are pretty well balanced for an HSS and sound awesome. Most of the online demos I’ve seen accurately represent the tones I’m able to achieve. Looks are personal taste, but I like the look. It took a while to get used to the 3x3 headstock on an S type but it has grown on me quite a bit. The black bird outlines on the maple fretboard really pop. The neck feels very similar to the Pattern Regular and is super smooth on the back. The playing experience great. Imagine an S2 Standard 22 and a Silver Sky had a baby. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. It’s expensive, but it’s also a top notch instrument.
