Came out of the box perfect, except for tone knob popped off on the first try of the coil taps. Put it back on spun to a different spot and it's stuck for good now. Fit and finish are top notch. Set up from factory was remarkably good. No adjustments needed. 85/15 pickups in standard CE24s are a bit too...shrill for me. These 57/08s sound great, much more PAF and SG like. Works great for blues and jazz stylings. The neck pickup is a bit muddier than I had expected but some tone adjustments on my amp livened it up. I prefer this not having a maple cap, and being able to feel the wood grain through the nitro paint job. All in all great purchase, and much happier than I would've been with a CE24 with 85/15's and a maple cap (plus have money left to spare).

The set up from factory was horrific. Truss adjusted action lowered it plays like butter. Fast smooth perfect fretwork. Even the truss rod is smooth and buttery. Tone is overall warm but clear and defined with a brilliant sparkle that is not ear piercing. I really love the tapped sounds of the 57/08's. Incredible single coil sounds.I can't wait to see how the finish wears.
