I'm very happy with my purchase. The upgrade from the Pro S series has improved my overall sound and sample quality. Big up to zZounds for allowing me to purcase these along with my mixer. I am very pleased with the entire process and product. I will be paying these off and then ordering more things from zZounds! Respect

To be fair to Ortofon I have decide to to a 2nd review of these needles. My initial dissatisfaction with the sound quality of these was actually with the sound that they produced when scratching. These are not the needles that ortofon promotes for scratching although these do hold up nicely in terms of tracking with back spinning etc. So after giving these another run, I adjusted to them and they are actually NOT as bad as I stated in my first review. I would probably try the scratch model if I could do it all over again. So 4 stars for these. Final answer!!!!!

These needles perform good as far as tracking etc. Ortofon stated that they cut out some of the high frequency in order to enhance performance with DVS. This is true and leaves the needles sounding flat. Sound quality is sub-par compared to Shure M447s. Not worth the money in my opinion!
