I had been thinking about one of these for YEARS. I had recently gotten rid of a PRS Archon because, as everyone else has noted, there continued to be an issue with the effects loop. I absolutely loved the gain structure of that amp and had been searching for something that would provide that, and then some. This amp completely delivered and well exceeded my expectations. It has amazing gain, not just for the heavy stuff too. All the way from beautiful clean sparkle to intense and forceful (but still clear) high gain. And it does it all wonderfully. This amp is simple, and that's the point. But, that's in no way an indicator of the amp being limited in any way. This amp can surely get you any sound you want and could not be any easier to dial in. Also, it gets along great with any guitar I put in front of it. Oh, and it can sound great at low volumes and has well more than enough volume to keep up in any practice or live situation. For 15 watts, the OR15 actually gets louder than my Archon ever did (and it's 50w). Perfect for bedroom or stage and everything in between. I haven't found a bad tone whatsoever.
Sound
The amp is very responsive, especially when you have it just over the edge of breakup. With my Tele in hand, I can get it to clean up just by being more dynamic with my picking. And then just bear down and it opens right up into marvelous overdrive. And no matter how you set the gain, note clarity is quite perfect.
Features
So far, I haven't noticed any weak points, other than I'd like a reverb on it, even if they used the same digital reverb from the Super Crush (which is also amazing). But, the effects loop is outstanding and you can just hook up and time/modualtion effects and enhance it from there.
Ease of Use
This amp could not be easier to use. 5 knobs, that's all you get. But that's all it needs. And I can't state this enough: any and every tone is achievable with this amp. Country clean, dark goth-y cleans, blues, classic rock, hard rock, metal, it's all in there! With just a couple turns of a knob or two you're right where you intended to be.
Quality
Seems very well made, good weight for the size, easy enough to tote to practice or load up for live. Sits right on top of my Mesa Rec vertical 2x12 and really sings through the V30's. Haven't noticed any flaws in the construction.
Value
For what this amp can achieve, and that's really pretty much anything, it's totally worth the price of admission. People think a versatile amp needs to have multiple channels, built-in effects, etc. NOT TRUE. This is one of the simplest amps I've ever used and it hasn't hindered me once in trying to find different sounds from it.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed support as of yet, and given the reputation these have, I doubt I ever will.
The Wow Factor
It looks like a true Orange, it sounds like a true Orange, I think on the Rockerverb may be above this as far as tone goes. But that may not really be true either. For the size, weight, volume capability, and tonal variety, this may be every bit as good as a Rockerverb (just minus the 'verb part). This really is the Swiss Army amp, it just disguises itself well as a one-trick pony. Don't be mislead by its appearance. This amp will take you anywhere you want to go. Nuff said.

I love this amplifier!! It does what it's supposed to. It's much louder than I thought it would be.....15 watts RMS into my 4-12 cab is so loud I use a Weber 50 watt Load Dump to tame it. This amp does everthing I need it to, and has an effect loop as well. Get one now!!

I owned the Tiny Terror, and while a great amp, felt like it was missing something. I bought the OR15 (black tolex) with matching PPC112. The OR15 is like the Tiny Terror's big brother. A couple things worth mentioning: - The stock tubes are okay, but if you want more clean headroom, go with Mullards. - PPC112 is a good cabinet, but the Laney IRT112 sounds better (better bass especially) and is less expensive. - The amp only has one channel and sounds great with a Black Arts Toneworks Coven

This is a fantastic amp. Geared more towards classic rock, but will do clean and metal. Clean is very nice, along the lines of Vox, not as pristine as Fender. Pretty loud in clean, but you may need to mic it for small gigs. No need to mic it on classic rock and 80's metal. For hardcore stuff, you will probably need some pedals. This is an awesome base amp. Wonderful tones and good power. Single channel, but would be a dream with pedals as alt channels. Has an effects loop, which is fantastic. This is the best amp I've owned, and I've had a Fender Twin, and a Marshall jvm. I like this better than both. It's a little loud, even on 7 watts, for apartments and such, but is great for home use, practice, and small gigs.

I initially bought this amp because I'm getting older and i don't want to lug around hundreds of lbs. of gear anymore and this is a nice compact head. Man, this thing packs a punch though. Nice warm cleans, filthy overdrive, and loud enough to wake your chubby neighbors up. Great job Orange.

I can't find a bad sound on this. With my HSS Strat, you get everything from glassy cleans, to Hendrixy neck pickup sounds, to Thin Lizzy once you flip on the humbucker. Crank the gain and the bass and mid knobs and you're in Dopesmoker territory. Plug in a high-output humbucker through an OD and its metal city. It could be a *hair louder, but I'm also chalking that up to currently having a cab with crappy speakers.

I've had this amp for 6 years and have no intentions of getting rid of it. Bought it originally to play in a KISS Tribute band.Kept it around because the tone is right up my alley. Get great Cleans for an Elvis tune, all the way to high gain for Alice Cooper Shock Rock. This amp is DURABLE! Dropped off the stand during a gig from a good three feet and nothing broke. Light and Portable, Simple and Stylish!

I ordered this amp in May of 2020. About two weeks ago I Started to get nothing but horrible static and volume drops and random increases when playing. It’s totally unusable. I’ve replaced tubes and that fixed it for a day or so then back to the same problem. I contacted zZounds and they happily gave me the number to orange and told me they were very “strict” on their return policy since this was outside 45 days. Come on even guitar center has better terms than that. Now I’m stuck with an amp I’ve owned less than six months that I’ll have to ship off to get worked on. That’s fine if you want to stick it to your customers I’ll just be more “strict” on who I buy from in the future. Oh and this isn’t the first product from zZounds I’ve had an issue with either. I oddly had the same sort of issue with an apogee unit. Tons of static and not usual able. Fortunately that broke down in less than 10 days so I shipped it back. I can’t overstate how unhappy I am with this purchase and the customer service at sounds.
