My Crush 50 was the LAST Bass Combo Amp I ever expected to buy.....Why? I'm not a Metal Guy. Then I plugged in the Crush next to TWO of the top selling combo amps from other manufacturers and discovered that the Crush completely and totally destroyed them. No matter what type of music you play, you owe it to yourself to check out these Tone Monsters. Have I ever turned up the Gain knob to bring in a tone of distortion? Nope. Not my thing. The only thing I'd advise Orange to do is to add a 1x12 ext cabinet and a 2x10 ext cabinet to the Crush Line. I currently use an Aguilar 1x12 with my Crush 50......and it's Magical.......but it's not Orange. #bassilicious .

Great for at home playing..easy to use..great basic funtions..and fair amount of fuzz/ distortion funtion if that's your thing..love the 6db pad funtion worked great with my ibanez sr370 live eq bass. with pad button..youcan get more clean volume with out pushing the woofer to its limits

I purchased the Orange Crush Bass 50 combo amplifier from zZounds and it is amazing.This is the second Orange Amp I have purchased through zZounds. I run this in tandem with my Orange O Tone 40. Alone the amp is fantastic. Granted I play electric guitar through it and NOT A BASS. But this delivers possibly the purest and warmest clean tones imaginable. The 4 band parametric EQ is essential and works exactly as it should. The mid frequency sweep is incredibly effective allows you to tweak your desired tone any way you need. Incredibly punchy. Great responsiveness and touch in this amp.The distortion/gain is pure Orange. Sounds exactly like Orange distortion. Fuzz to mild breakup depending on how you dial it in and how much clean tone is blended in. Speaking of the blend feature, it is very nifty indeed.This is a rock solid amp.

I was actually blown away by this amp. I have been and ampeg user for a long time. I usually spend days trying to dial in my tone.With this amp I literally did it in 20 Minutes. But what really got me is the tone of this amazing amp.I played with just about every setting you could imagine and I don't think there's a bass tone on the planet you cannot get with this amp.Also only being 50 W it will still shake the windows in my Room.So over all good job Orange because next im going to buy a full stack... bass drop.. I played my new ibanez 5 string bass through this amp first and it sounds great! The tone is wonderful, it was easy to find the tones I wanted and wow this amp really has the power needed and then some but also sounds great at low volumes. I decided to try my regular electric next and was shocked at how good it sounds. Beats most guitar amps I have played through over the years. I am extremely happy with the purchase and you can't beat zZounds for price and shipping speed. Ordered it at 330 Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered Wednesday morning!
