This amp does one thing extremely well - it takes whatever guitar signal you send it, it sweetens it up just a touch, and then makes it bone shakin' loud. I like the simple two channel design and effects loop. I've been jamming with the dirty channel mostly. The gain is smooth and breaks up the sound in a distinctly British fashion. Think Led Zeppelin. There are really no bells and whistles here. Just a solid-as-a-tank amp that will deliver the goods in high powered style.

First I let me say that zZounds.com is the best as far as working with you. It's online but they're so pleasant to deal with it's like I have a corner music store and I walk in, tell them what I need with limited funds at the moment, and they say "No worries. We got you.." Their payment plan system is the best, I bought a guitar on this system and now the amp. Would never recommend a competitor over zZounds. They just always do me right. The amp as all online reviews state is awesome. Sturdy cabinet. I think I have the master volume at 1/8th level and it's plenty loud for home playing. So it can get plenty loud for larger venues. Great quality workmanship, I feel like I can have this amp for 30 years and it'll hold up. And I plan to. Unlike the smaller Orange Crush series there is no built in tuner, but if you're buying this I'm assuming you have a separate tuner or can tune by ear.

This is the most amazing solid state amp that I have ever played on. I have owned tubes, and modeling amps, but I love how I can turn this thing on and off throughout the day and get great tone. It is plain, simple, and powerful. This is a great buy, and I hope to buy more orange solid state equipment soon.
Musical Background:

I love to play a combo of blues, pop, folk. I like to listen to anything from Beethoven to Les Paul to Creed. It is all good.

This amp is a work horse. The analogue board coupled with the voice of the world speakers deliver crisp clear sounds on both clean and dirty channels. Constantly dialing in new tones is a fun way to challenge this stellar amp. For the value and the quality of amp you get its better than the the orange MKIII. Sounds just as good too. A built in tuner would be nice with a less bulky peddle that should have been included.
