Upgraded to the bass butler from a darkglass vmt deluxe and wow what a difference the tones you can get out of this rig are crazy from deep bass to screaming distortion it has a setting for every player

This thing is a monster. I love the idea behind the bi-amp design and this thing puts out awesome tone. I can’t say I’ve used other preamp DIs to compare it to, but this thing is awesome. There are a few things that could be improved. Most importantly, a headphone Jack. This could be the perfect pocket amp. Headphones for practice, DI outs for gigging and practice, but to practice with headphones you have to DI it into an audio interface or run it into another amp. Otherwise this thing would be perfect. I’d prefer the 3 band to be on the clean channel, but with enough tweaking, I’ve been able to dial good tones regardless. Awesome product.
