I purchased this desk hoping to use it as my studio desk to place my MPC Key 61 on. The only disappointed I had about this desk is the keyboard tray isn't deep enough and too close to the top board for me to fit my Key 61 on. Mines shipped with not enough screws, however I did contact the manufacturer and they was nice enough to mail me the few missing screws free. I'm currently using this desk to hold my laptop computer, desktop monitor, USB keyboard, and mouse. However I would not use it to put my studio gear on!

***Please keep in mind that this review only reflects on the product. zZounds has been outstanding in dealing with this so far***First of all, this is the 2nd one of these shipped to me. The first one was damaged in transit and I could see why upon opening. There's almost nothing between the components and the box. Very little padding, soft box. Second, the thing looks like it came from Big Lots. Obviously cheaply manufactured, the pieces didn't line up, there's extra holes drilled in it and one of the cam locks disintegrated inside the mounting hole. I never got far enough to find out, but I wouldn't trust this thing with my $200 school laptop much less a recording setup or a dj workstation. It's not at all with the $400 price tag.

This would be a decent desk but the manufacturing is sloppy and careless. First off, the product arrived in a severely damaged box. I went to help FedEx as I saw pieces fall out of the box and the guy ran back to the truck and raced away. I would have denied to receive it with how badly damaged the box is.Upon unpacking, I noticed slight damage to the desktop but it was in an unnoticeable area so I decided to see how far I could get.While assembling, I came across many defects. Holes where there shouldn't be, holes that were covered over, bent screw posts. There were also 10 missing cam locks and 7 missing posts that go into the cams. Some of the inserts that you screw the posts into were crooked and many of the posts were bent. It got to a point where I couldn't proceed due to the lack of hardware. I contacted zZounds and tried to exchange at first but then opted for a refund as I'm afraid to be in the same situation yet again. The rep was awesome and really tried to help. zZounds said they would even reimburse me for a new box to ship the desk back to them.Stay away from this desk. The other review on here is absolutely correct. Hopefully zZounds will drop this manufacturer and spare everyone else the headache of dealing with such poor quality that you can't use the product even if you want to give it a chance.
