I had always wanted a Oberheim since I can remember. After 40-45 years of wanting one I now own one. The price is very hefty but you get what you pay for. This is a very SOLID build. All metal with wood sides and a FATAR keybed that is extremely comfortable to use. You get all the classic sounds of am OB-8, OB-Xa, OB-SX and OB-X all under one hood! if it was originally played on anything Oberheim dating back to 1975 then you can play it. Styx, Rush, Van Halen, Prince, Simple Minds, Nena and many many others. The filters and sound is unbelievable and you just have to play one to feel the experience I am feeling. Don't hesitate because chances are this will be your top synth or easily top 3 you ever buy.
