This unassuming little box is so good i bought 2! i Play in a P&W band and a Country/Variety band. This pedal is wonderfully responsive to dynamics, and cleans up nicely when your volume knob is turned down. so much so that the pedal is most always on. For insane crunch, i just put another pedal in front of it. it takes some tweaking to find the "sweet spot" but once found, its well worth it

This pedal gives you that fender-esque breakup quite easily. If anyone out there is looking for a pedal that gives you that Christopher Cross overdriven sound or just a pushed bassman sound, this is the pedal to get for the money you're spending.

"Cheap but sounds good"

It's great for the little money that it costs. It has similar characteristics as tubescreamer type pedals. You can use it as standalone or as a booster, however keep in mind, that even on the lowest drive setting it already has some notable bite. I would definitely suggest you try it before you buy it.There are a couple of cons: It tends to eat up some of the lower frequencies and the potentiometers are the cheapest junk I've seen in a while. they are wobbly and seem like they're going to break any moment.
