Everything works great! i've used every feature on the unit thus far, even changing the start/stop time of the moving platter. It only took a few minute of messing with the buttons to figure it out. Most of the things i had trouble with were because of the program, serato itch, because i have been using vdj and traktor. By the way, this controller can be mapped to basically any program.

the product is amazing. completely seamless and feels just like real vinyl. I personally am a novice dj and i have been working with the Hercules rmx for the last two years. I have a few hours of practice and knowledge of turntablism under my belt, and moving to the v7 was like a gift from god. exactly what i need to gain more knowledge and practice with a real turntable, but still with the ease of a dj controller.

I haven't tried the V7 against other products like the pioneer 2000's series or 1000's series, but everything about the V7 is simple to use, even an inexperienced DJ can learn to scratch with the slip pad, and motorized wheel also gives the transitional 12" record 1200 series DJ at digital in usually a few minutes.

It took a few minutes to get hooked up because I had a a newer version downloaded that was updated from the serato website and the V7 came with a older version.

While sync feature sometimes it does not work and you have to use the range button to get it the right sync between the two songs. The instruments work great

It would be better if it had a hard drive inside the unit to have more sex appeal to a DJ that way all you have to do is have a Nemark double sided Monitor or a monitor/projector/ digital recorder all in one to record your shows and project the dance floor and/or videos on the wall or screen set up on the opposite wall.
