Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I have spent many hours playing this violin. I chose it because I love Steinberger and I trust that name for innovative products that sound great.
Sound
I rated the sound a 9 based on my satisfaction with the instrument. I have been playing piano/guitar for many years and got this violin so I could try to learn to play it. I have enjoyed it very much. The sound might not be what a seasoned violinist might expect, but I love it.
Features
I love the size, the weight, the shoulder rest, etc. Everything is quite good in my opinion.
Ease of Use
I give this violin a 10 for Ease of Use because I had an old cheap violin that would never stay in tune. The Steinberger tuners on this instrument are AMAZING and I think every violin should have them.
Quality
Very good. I'm not disappointed at all. Nicely made, feels solid, and it looks very nice.
Value
I would have given it a 10 if it came with a bow.
