Bought these on a budget and as a smaller, lighter option to my 2 meter glo-totem 2.0's and I'm extremely happy I did... I was worried about them being able to support my Chauvet intimidator 140sr hybrids, but they do the job without any swing or sway even when I'm doing fast movements with them... I read other reviews complaining about the setup and breakdown and tools required and yes to completely disassemble them you will need a Phillips. I have yet to completely disassemble them and haven't found a reason to. I simply loosen the clamps and collapse it to 3ft, leave the skrims on them and the uplights inside and pick them up and put them in the van. I can easily carry both totems out with lights inside by myself... it cuts my setup and breakdown time down a bunch. I wasn't sure if I would like the 5ft max height but I have really come to love it and actually prefer it in some of the venues I play because the 2 meter ones put my lights too close to the ceiling. Bought these 6 months ago and wanted to see if they held up before writing a review, and they have held up great and I actually grab these over the glo totems 2.0's on a lot of occasions... if you aren't sure about them, I would definitely say go for them. There are holes in the top plates for power and dmx cables which makes it really easy to make a super clean look.
The only thing I can even say bad about them is that the microphone style clamps that allow the height adjustments do stick out through the skrim a little but it's only noticible to me because I am extremely detail oriented with my setups.
