I am a newbie to keyboard playing, I am learning to play keyboard off of it, AND using it for my DAW Studio 1 pro. ver3 and it is very impressive with the MAI and Presence syths from Studio one. It actually is very impressive with the tones and the quality. Since I have not "keyboard key" expectations, its very responsive and the pads are very sensitive. I haven't even covered all of the options yet, so its a blast and when I play back the tones on my tracks, I am impressed! I GREAT buy for a beginner like me. If you are tiptoeing into this area, I am a guitar player, it was worth buying for me.
