I was looking for a small keyboard for entering real time notation in Presonus' Notion software for scoring. I also wanted the unit to have velocity sensitive pads for percussion (i.e. Timpani drums). The various reviews led me to this unit and I am happy with it. The price, quick delivery and good packaging from zZounds made it all a positive and enjoyable experience.

Been playing music for over 45 years, I am a multi-instrumentalist, have played professionally, just play for fun now.

A good buy at $99.00. It is versatile and seems to handle all my instrument needs. The set up is easy enough and the on-board mixer buttons run my DAW just fine. There are a few down point to this unit....1. Sometime when you release a key, it will continue to "sound" when it shouldn't. 2. After a while the keys become a little uneven, like maybe their not returning to their complete rest position. Other than that everything else is just fine.
