The S8 build quality is amazing , whether you want to use it as a controller or with cdjs or dvs or as a stand alone mixer the S8 is what u want . The effects r kick ass and the screens r clear , navigating through your tracklists is easy without even looking at ur laptop. Traktor software and mbp integration is seamless . Getting used to having no jogwheels or pitchfaders is not a big deal at all. The stems decks r very cool. I'm very satisfied with my S8. It is big so check out the dimensions to make sure S8 is for you.

coming from the traktor s4... the s8 is a DREAM. I love the screens and how sturdy the whole unit is. Using it as a stand alone mixer is also a very nice addition. I would highly recommend it.

it stated out as a great controller especially since i don't use jog wheels but then the trouble started when i turn it on you start to hear a weird sound and it takes 10 to 20 mins to come on....after researching found this has happened to several people...contacted NI for support and instead of them wanting me to send it back to get fixed or offering me some money for the unit ......THEY SEND ME A INVOICE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE SO I CAN SPEND MORE MONEY ON THIS UNIT.... I SEE WHY PIONEER IS THE STANDARD!!!
