This is a substantial stand. It is not a lightweight, but it's not heavy either. And the pneumatic assist, well that is really nice- REALLY! I am using for QSC 8.2"s and the stand and speakers look great as a unit. Stand is rock solid! The foot spread is adjustable, a very nice feature. I just received the units- so time will tell as to durability, but based on what I have seen so far- these should last a long time. Very pleased and the cost to value seems outstanding.

This speaker made my work easy and fast. It safer to use than trying to place the speaker almost over your head and taking it out by your self in gigs. I bought one just to see if will benefit in setting up faster. I am buying one more.
