I bought this stand because I have three guitars. I didn't expect that it would be a great fit for my Firebird. I have a Hercules portable stand that is a great stand but isn't really meant for non-standard guitar bodies. With the Flip-It, what I didn't realize is that the cradle for the guitar body pivots. This allows the cradle to hold the guitar at the two most stable points, based on the guitar's shape and center of gravity. As luck would have it, my Moderne also rests very stably on this stand. The padded loop at the top has a spring-loaded gate, so you'd really have to work at it to get your guitar to fall over. The only this that would make this stand better would be if it rotated, to bring the guitar you wanted to the "front."

I bought this stand back in 2019 Right before I bought my 7 sting and I gotta say that If I didn't buy this stand the guitar would need to be stuffed back in its case every-time I use it. I mean theirs not mush to say here except its a very durable stand and well worth the money. I also have 5 string bass and again there is no problem leaving on this stand for days at time. I'm thinking of buying another one just because I have 7 guitars and like to keep them out so I have choice on what I want to play and dont have to go through the hassle of pulling them all out.
