I bought this kit hoping it would give a long lasting high gloss polish. Very sad to say that in fact it will polish somewhat, it does not last . Within a few days my frets were back to the oxidized look and bends were no better than before I used it. Honestly you need to start with about a 1500 - 2000 grit and work up to at least a 8000 - 12,000 grit like a micro mesh paper. You need to actually put some very fine scratches in the fret and work up to the 12,000..... then polish with this stuff. Then it's a whole different feel and much more of a long lasting smooth shine. Very disappointed. I hope zZounds will start to carry the micro mesh pads In the near future.
