My first Music Man. Purchased as a backup to my Gibson Thunderbird. The instrument looks flawless and a nice transparent oxblood color. The neck is very comfortable and not sticky, but the neckgrain is flatsawn (I addressed this with the manufacturer and got no response). The instrument looks much more durable than the TBird, yet overall lighter, especially when compared to hauling in the cases. I purchased nut files to lower action by the nut, but that's subjective. I play Rotosounds, so I'll probably be changing out the Slinkys, but they feel good on the neck. I like that it has SS frets. Very pleased with the customer service in getting this to me.
