Luke 3 HSS is an awesome guitar. It looks good, feels good and sounds good at everything I play. The neck the rosewood fretboard and roasted neck were my main motivation for getting this. Made just about all my other guitars sound like toys, aside from my American Strat. Jazz, funk, and rock all sound sweet played on the Luke 3.

The Musicman Luke III is by far one of the nicest guitars out there for the money. It's not cheap but it is well worth it. Neck is absolutely stunning to feel and play. Intonation is dead on. From the factory no adjustments needed. If you use vibrato it actually stays dead on in tune. Going to buy more music man instruments and get rid of the ones I thought were great. Once you play this guitar you won't want any other. They are not cheap but then again you get what you pay for! 10 0ut of 10 for all categories and I'm not just saying that.

The Luke 3 HSS is a dream machine. Intonation is right on out of the box no set up needed. Neck is like butter, and as far as sound goes this thing can do it all. It's a big investment but well worth the money if you can do it. I own many guitars but this one is special. No other guitars will feel this good after you play it. My next one is going to be a Stingray. That is also a sweet instrument. zZounds is also a great place to buy your instruments. Delivery is good and service is great.

Guitar plays wonderfully. You can get most any tones from it. Comfortable to hold while playing. No set up required. It played great out of the box which is usual for EB. Neck is comfortable and easy to access high neck area. Tremolo stays in tune even dive bombing. I'm impressed. Came with the matching case. Great deal.

Wow, what can I say about this guitar.? I bought it Jul 2018 as a blem. I did research and it looked like it had some awesome features so I took a chance. So glad I did. The neck on this thing is absolutely superb! I've never played a better neck in my life including my beloved Suhr. The pickups sound outstanding for every kind of music you could put through this machine. The silent circuit works just as you think it would. There is a trim pot on the preamp that adjusts the volume of the 2&4 positions so that there is no loss of volume when using those compared to the humbucker or other positions. This guitar is so well thought out. It is perfectly balance on me. After purchasing this I also bought a Cutlass which is a stellar guitar in its own right, but, this is still my number one. There is only one thing keeping this guitar from being perfect and that is the lack of Stainless Steel frets. Not sure why Steve or EBMM elected not to use them but put them on and you have perfection with 6 strings!
