Martin 000-15M Acoustic Guitar (with Case)

All-mahogany solid wood construction and a beautiful satin finish make for a great-looking 000-shaped Martin acoustic that's powerful, clear, and balanced.

This was my first Martin and thanks to zZounds' easy payment plan I was able to get it for my first Martin. Like other players I have owned low to mid range guitars because frankly I couldn't afford a Martin or Gibson , again thank you zZounds!! I had played a bunch of Gibsons, J45's and the Humming Birds but Martin just sounds better with the low end and playability. More over the ebony finger board that I believe makes Martins just sound better than a Gibson, sorry no offense Gibson owners. Out of the box it was perfect, action a touch bit high but I brought it in to Dusty's Strings in Seattle and they set me up perfect. It's easy to play and for the minimum appointments it's still just a beautiful guitar. I also put a pick up system in it and it sounds great. I get compliments all the time on how the guitar sounds and looks. It has a full length neck which is great. Just a great guitar!!! I bought a Martin D35 the same way from zZounds and could not be happier. Each guitar has its own vibe. I am constantly struggling to decide which one to play. If you can't get the D28 or D35 this would be a excellent choice.

This is a very nice guitar and I am happy to have it. I received it three days ago and the first thing I noticed is that the strings had to go. The action is a little high even for a low end Martin. With that said the guitar is absolutly beautiful. I think with a good set-up and replace the strings with Elixer's this is going to be a nice ride. The guitar out of the box does sounds great and better than any other guitars in that price range. The neck is narrower that Im used to but it will take a little time to get used to. But again I am very happy to be playing this guitar. If you are looking for a lot of appointments then you will be dissapointed that there are none on this guitar ( hence the lower price). No frills ride here but the guitar sounds great and over time it will only get better. If you have the choice between a import or this guitar, get this guitar!!! Its money well spent.
