I like the feel and playability of this guitar and would replace it if lost or stolen with the same model.
Sound
The DCPA3 has that great Martin dreadnaught tone. Full and rich sounding. Very versatile guitar. Does not disappoint.
Features
The guitar case is very nice and lined with a very soft material to keep the guitar like new.
Ease of Use
Built in Electronics take some time to dial in but it is easy to figure out with the supplied directions.
Quality
Top notch quality. Fit and finish are excellent. Guitar action is set light which makes this guitar easy to play. I prefer the 1 3/4 nut for finger style playing.
Value
I would say that it is priced competitively compared to other guitars in the same class.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to call the manufacturer for any repairs or upgrades.
The Wow Factor
This model does not have have the fancy pearl inlays on the fretboard or rosette but is sounds the same as the more expensive models in this category.

"A very good guitar for its price"
I have owned a D28 and a new D18 Retro. The DCPA3 has a very good tone due to its scalloped bracing. And the richlite fretboard gives it a brightness on the treble that the D28 doesnt have, It also has the great bass of the D28 with the Rosewood. This is by far the best of all the DCPA3 and 4 models as its the only one with rosewood. It doesnt quite match a guitar made with dovetail neck and ebony fingerboard. The more expensive Martin guitars will always have a more resonant and superior tone. I have played a new retro HD28 vintage and it was the best guita Ive ever played $4500NZ with no pick up. The F1 Aura pick up is easy. It really only sounds good on the No 2 and 3 settings Playability was quite good but I have sanded 3mm off the neck so its more like my new D18 retro...very fast
