Martin D41 Special Guitar Customer Review
Sound
Now I have to include a discalimer; Martin made my guitar to my specifications. I'm a fingerstylist, not a bluegrass player, so that was a bit of difference from what they normally do. No pickguard and the action was so close to my request that I only had to lower the bridge .003 of an inch. Overall tone range is outstanding through bass and treble; warm tonal quality and huge sound projection. Not mike friendly, but the guitar of my dreams, and I've played for 45 years.
The D-45 can keep it's bling, but this is a players guitar. Sorry you don't carry it any more; not that I need another one.
