I have been playing guitar for 28 years now I believe. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania so C.F. Martin has always had a place in my heart since I began playing. The guitar out of the box was perfectly tuned dropped a half step. It looks amazing, and sounds amazing, through the highs, midrange, and lows it just resonates so wonderfully. I prefer a parlor style body to a dreadnought style and let me tell you this thing delivers such beautiful tone through out it's solid mahogany construction. I was on the fence of getting the 000-15 to the Streetmaster. I am glad I went with the Streetmaster the relic finish and prewar styled tuners looks amazing. I get compliments from everyone that sees and hears it. I would also like to comment that the soft gig bag case is really nicely made and has more protection than a standard run of the mill gig bag.

Musical Background:

28 years of playing guitar and a little drums.

Musical Style:

Reggae, Ska, Punk, Country, Irish Folk, Folk, Rock, R&B, Blues, Bluegrass, basically I like to play a bit of everything.

Born in PA I always wanted a Martin. I finally settled on the Streetmaster because The Martins I wanted in my youth were all pre-war era. Needless to say they are a bit pricey. The 000-15M gave me that era body shape and the tone I was searching for. I was looking for a parlor size guitar to have at arm's reach at all times. This guitar makes me want to play and when I pick it up and strum that first chord I always smile. IT SMELLS AMAZING TOO.Ive owned Gibson and Ovation acoustics before and always found the tone too bass heavy. I had the chance to a/b test some guitars, including a 70's era Humming Bird, in studio and found the two Martins available had the perfect tone to cut through the mix naturally. This Streetmaster is no different. It's dry mid ranged tone cuts through no matter if your jamming with friends, playing along to the radio or mic'd up live. It's become my favorite guitar I own and it's inspired me to play again. It came with eh nicest plush gig bag I've ever seen as well. Thanks to zZounds for making a life long dream a reality!

I bought this as a gift for myself for going back to school at age 43. I have had a taylor ad 17 and was rather disappointed in the quality and sound and even playability in that taylor. I have always heard great things about martin but never had the finances to purchase one. So when I did come across the money, what do you think i did. I got this street master. I couldn't be more pleased. easiest guitar Ive ever hADC THE PLEASURE OF PLAYING. EVEN WITH MY FAT FINGERS IT MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER TO GET THE POSITIOINS i COULDNT BEFORE REACH. EXCELLENT JOB mARTIN AND cvO.

This Martin has a rich deep quality to it. It is easy to play ; just feels so comfortable. In my opinion sounds better than an HD28. I love the deep base tonality. The fit and finish is fantastic. Best guitar I have owned
