I use this Monster Cable to connect my iPod, computer, or Guitar Trainer CD to a PA. The PA accepts the two 1/4" jacks, and the IPod (or computer, or CD player) the 1/8" (in the headphone jack). That is all there is too it. The Monster Cable wires are relatively thick which suggests they will be good for sound -- and the sound is great. The only trade-off is that the cables are a little stiff (because they are thick), and so it is sometimes annoying to bend the cable where you want it. Still, I like the thought of having the best sound possible and happily accept the slightly stiff cables.

I have two rokit 5 powered monitors and wanted a simple split cable from 1/4 in to stereo 1/8. this cable makes the music sound as good as possible and has no feedback. thanks zzounds and monster for making my purchase easy and the product great! i will be ordering thru you in the future.
