I bought the OP Patriot Decree in Black when it first came out , had the push/ pull pots , nice guitar overall but is a chunk - right at 9 pounds ..,This newer model , which is basically the same except for the mini switch split option and is about 2 pounds lighter and I’m really liking the Slim Body design .The guitar plays well and feels good in hand .Pickups are overwound and hotter than original and are very good sounding , electronics are good quality and has full size pots .Overall a great deal for the money . The Patriot Decree has been a very under rated - almost a well kept secret , but for the money and quality - just buy it !I wouldn’t think twice about buying another to replace the ones I have now .
