This is the guitar I've been looking for. I bought it used though. But it plays perfectly. No buzz at all. I use a boss katana mk2 head, which has an acoustic guitar setting. And this guitar sounds great acoustic and electric. Perfect if you need both sounds in one song. It has just a slight hint of a weird sound as an electric. But barely noticeable. I have a fender acoustasonic and was disappointed by the electric sound. This is way better!

I just received guitar number 2. The acoustic output pot is very flimsy and not properly tightened. My issue with these guitars is zero output from the Piezo. I of course replaced the battery on both. I’m very disappointed that 2 in a row have the same problem. Unfortunately I’d advise avoiding this guitar.

The guitar itself is great. Good- Fit and finish are excellent. Plays well, frets are nice, finish and looks are amazing. Bad- Fret buzz on high E upper frets. Battery for Fishman pickup is dead. Hunbuckers are nice but very mellow- don’t be fooled by the videos, you will need a pedal to get growl out of these. Running through the Orange Micro Terror and there is no bark at all from these. And the Orange gets a nasty tone when you max it out. Worse- zZounds is supposedly known for customer service but nit this time I guess. When I contacted them about the battery and feet buzz, they said the expectation is everyone will take it to a luthier for a set up. Maybe if I was adjusting something or wanted it set differently. I just wanted to be able to play it out of the box and can’t because of the buzz issue. I guess $850 doesn’t buy you much anymore. Not at all happy with zZounds. I hate to rate this low because if it all worked this would be an amazing guitar. Didn’t happen in this instance though.

Best guitar for loopers. Very versatile, for those who wanna get a variety of sounds been running it through a head rush looper. This guitar has been stepped on by a sound engineer, been dropped by a bass player, played at every bar on 6th street. Doing about 15-25 shows a month, sounds great for worship. This guitar is a workhorse. Look at my instagram for demo of this beast of a guitar @mijo512 . Hand shake grip at 12fret feels great, easy to play, Lightweight. The price is even better than most competing brands when It comes to what it can do , only thing I would change is giving it a bone nut and bridge. And make the pickups out of metal not wood. The wooden bracket for the wooden pickups cracked overtime. Other than that, it is an outstanding instrument. I feel like you get your moneys worth with this guitar. Just got another one so I can get my main one standard wear and tear maintenance on it. Got an Open box one can’t find anything wrong with it. This electric guitar with piezo makes all other guitar with piezo seam over price. In my opinion, it’s better than the acoustiosonic, prs se hollow body 2, Schecter c1 ae.
