I was really not expecting much from this guitar but am trying it anyway. So far it’s ok playing and sounds good. Excellent resonance and sounds good on the amp with the hollowed out setting and the full bodied setting. Will be commenting again , but so far for the money it’s a good sounding well put together instrument.

This guitar is far and away better than expected. I was purchasing it for a low priced carry along, but the sound quality rivals my more expensive guitars at a far lower price point. The setup was perfect and no sharp fret ends.
Sound
The sound quality is an effective rival to my Taylor and my Breedlove. That being said both of those are fine guitars but this low end model from Michael Kelly gets PHENOMENAL sound acoustically. I have not tried it on the amp yet but with a combo of the fishman and a decent large diaphragm mic I am sure it will sound excellent.
Features
Ease of playing is wonderful and setup straight out of the box was good. It arrived tuned roughly a whole step down but that was an easy fix. Strings are a bit heavier than I like but I will change those someday.
Ease of Use
It naturally produced great depth and projection as well as clarity. Volume acoustically is astounding. Very easy to play with absolutely no sharp fret ends.
Quality
It seems very well made. The only thing I would change is adding a transparent pick guard.
Value
It is worth more than it is selling for. I am planning on getting some for my grand kids too to step up from their scaled down kids classicals.
Manufacturer Support
I have had no reason to reach them, The guitar arrived in perfect working order.
The Wow Factor
The value for the price point is incredible. Once again zZounds knocked it out of the park.

"Worst set up imaginable."

I'm not sure if it's lack of QC from zZounds or from MK guitars. The strings are 5-6mm off of the 12th fret. The saddle is all kinds of messed up, the nut looks like it was cut with hacksaw. Overall this is a poor showing for both Michael Kelly Guitars and for zZounds.com. I've already began the return process for a replacement. However it's a massive hassle having to run back and for to UPS, which I can only do on Saturday. By the time I see my replacement it will be a week from today.
