If you are looking for a strat type guitar then you found it here and stop looking. Idk why anyone would pay the crazy price for a stripped down fender when for less you get Seymour Duncan pickups , locking tuners , 2 point vibrato etc. This is an excellent guitar straight out of the box. Was set up low, neck had perfect amount of relief and the 2 point is set up floating and let me tell you I've worked it hard both ways trying to get the guitar out of tune and can't do it with the factory damn strings! I have never bought a guitar and not immediately put strings on it but this one didn't need it. When I say out of the box plug in tune and start playing it's no joke. This guitar just oozes quality. The look of it is fantastic and not one blemish anywhere! Neck is perfect also. I don't usually leave reviews unless it really bad or really good and this one is above good. This is the second MK guitar I've gotten. The patriot decree is a beautiful guitar and sounds awesome but a little on the heavy side which wouldn't of been a problem 20 yr ago lol. This one is perfect weight . I own quite a few guitars , as my wife would attest to

I first asked Michael Kelly who? Now I know what. The guitar is solid. Sustain capability is amazing. States in pitch even after some hard work with the trem and deep bends. It has ann incredible ability to shape your tone with the pick up and switching options. This one is an attractive instrument a keeper and a most enjoyable music making machine.
