I have been wanting to upgrade my 82 Japanese Strat with noiseless pickups for a long time but heard so many negative comments about them being sterile and lifeless. I talked to a great tech at Harry's guitar shop in Raleigh and he said these would be what he would use after having installed them in many customers' guitars. I told him I wanted noiseless but also true Stratocaster sounds. These answered my prayers! This prewired kit was so easy to install and they sound amazing! Everybody in the band has talked about them. And... no noise! I had quit playing my Strat on this stage because the hum was so bad, but now there is no hum! And they truly sound like great start pickups in all 5 positions. I can get every sound from SRV to Jeff Beck to Lynyrd Skynyrd to surf music to La Bamba. Even metal with the tone turned down on the bridge. Highly recommended if you want true Stratocaster sounds and even high gain with no noise!

Great loaded pickguard. These guy know how to build. Replaced American pro hss the bridge has more spanky goodness throw some dory on them and it will blow back your hair. I don’t have a lot of hair to get blown back. If you want to jam in all 5 positions well it works in all 5 positions and no hum at all. All you get is pure joy. So easy to install just watch video. Sounds like a Stratocaster of 50’s without the 60 cycle hum.
