M-Audio SP1 Sustain Pedal Customer Review
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Ease of Use
Just plug and go. There's a switch if your keyboard requires the polarity to be reversed.
Quality
Rubber pad on top becomes dislodged easily and is not easy to correct. The adjustment screws loosen over time and need to be tightened. Occasionally clicks loudly when used, annoying during softer play sessions.
Value
Cheap. In several aspects of the word.

"Don't ever buy this"

The only good thing I have to say about this is it has a polarity switch. That's it.The rubber on top comes off within days and cannot be put back on easily. My main problem with it is how cheaply it's made. I won't get too specific, but suffice to say that the spring will become unaligned making the pedal not work unless you manually push down the connecting rod by pushing very hard. I open this thing up every day to realign the spring. Seriously, spend some more money on a better pedal. This is the worst pedal I've ever used in my life and I will soon be buying a new one.

"Don't bother with this thing"
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Ease of Use
Almost impossible to make this thing work. Fuss with it all day and you'll find that once in a while it works like a pedal, otherwise you must press with superhuman strength and even then it works only sporadically.
Quality
Piece o' junk, I'm sorry to say. I LOVE my M-Audio keyboard, but this pedal is a sorry afterthought. The rubber pad dislodges with use. The little screws on the sides work their way out with use. Aaargh.

"terrible"
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
rubber backing is held in place by 4 tiny inserts which become dislodged and cannot be reinserted making the pedal not sit squarly on the floor. Side screws wear out quickly and break making pedal 100% unusable.

"Too noisy..."
Very very annoying on/off clicks for a *music* instrument accessory. Unless you put your gear's volume to the max, this is useless...
