I bought my first one just after 2000. To their credit, M-Audio kept updating drivers even after the model was discontinued, so after a brief retirement, I've been able to run it on Windows 7, Vista, and now on Windows 10 64-bit. I recently added a second one (and another Delta-66 card, connected them through S/PDIF, and bingo -- I have an 8-in/8-out, (virtually) zero-latency, direct connect (no USB, etc) audio interface. Only gotcha is that you need PCI slots, which most new computers don't have anymore, but mine happens to have two, so I guess I'll be keeping it for a while. There's just no way to get this kind of performance for under $1k with today's equipment, and the stuff that relies on serial bus connections (USB, Firewire, Thunderbolt) all add latency. It's absolutely amazing that a system that debuted prior to Y2K can still outperform anything new in its price range. As the other reviewer observed, it's definitely not 'plug-and-play', but none of the professional interfaces with these kinds of features are, not even the more modern ones.
