I've had my Mackie Thumps for about 3 years and they get used alot and have held up beyond my expectations. They sound and perform as good today, the same as the day I received them. Outstanding quality and sound. Best speaker on the market for the price. Highly recommend

Very clean sound. awesome power. added a thump18s. Through a 10 channel Mackie PROfx10. Using it for D/J and Karaoke. Best sounding setup in town. Incredible clear and powerful. Now I sound as professional as I should.

I’ve had these pair of Mackies for over a year now (3/19-10/20) and to my surprise they sound amazing for their size! Good bass and crisp highs, i have them hooked with limiter ,compressor, exciter. Never had any issues with the sound nor with the cabinet wearing out. Highly recommended for medium size gigs. I’ve had JBL’s, EV’s, Peavey’s, Yamaha brand speakers. These are my first set of Mackie brand speakers and i am very satisfied with the sound and build. They have a good balance of high and lows out of the box.

"Great For Keyboards"

The older I get the harder it is to carry my Roland KC 500 (65 lbs) so I needed an alternative. This piece gives me all the volume, clarity, and low end I’m used to at 30 lbs. I use two keyboards so the two inputs are perfect. Using a mixer gives you a little more control to roll off some bass (it is bass-heavy) and add effects but if you plug directly in it’s fine. There are 4 preset EQs on the speaker that give you some options without a mixer. Bottom line very pleased without spending a fortune on a boutique keyboard amp. zZounds is great had it in two days and using the Pay As You Play payment plan.
Sound
Band I’m in now does 60’s-80’s rock, pop and soul. My Hammond sound is paramount along with a cutting piano and crisp horns. This speaker reproduces all these faithfully.
Ease of Use
Turn it on plug in your axe it sounds great.
Quality
Plastic cab instead of wood makes it lightweight but Mackie quality is reliable.
Value
Great value.
