Just WOW!Had it for a few months now. Way too much for the house. Awesome low end matched up to a pair of 12" EV ZLXTo be honest I'll never get my money's worth out of it. Just way too much for what I need... but if you're looking for a very hard hitting sub at a reasonable price, go ahead and buy this monster. It's massive but manageable. Plus why not with zZounds.com Play as you Pay, you can't go wrong! Buy it! Buy it right now, if it's not too late you could be plugging it in tomorrow!

This subwoofer is pretty good for the money, but you can't set the crossover point. No gain, just a volume knob. And the best sounding preset is "Deep"setting. The subsonic filter keeps the LOW LOWS from standing out. The LPF is 200hz with a subsonic filter of 36hz. It sounds quite loud and boomy but lacking that BOTTOM BODY BASS. Maybe a drive rack or crossover is necessary to clean up the sound. But this is a budget subwoofer. It has no caster mounts for wheels and it's is not made of solid wood(processed wood material). The output is decent but like I said the LOW LOWS aren't there as much. Certain songs sound better than others. I think I need at least four and up to eight of these in a dj configuration to get the spread and cover I want. I have worked as an audio technician for professional audio companies and plan to build my own audio service so I have heard JBL vertec systems,JBL SRX,EV,RCF,Clair Brothers, you name it,I heard it. And these only have about 33% of what I want from a powered subwoofer. If your serious you need to put casters on it.
