sounds good, clean bass. output is great when u feed it a good signal. the sound quality is great. and its light, easy to move even being a 18.

So I got this sub about 3 years ago. It was the first sub I ever bought. I’ve been around all kinds of sound systems. I have played drums in bands for 40 plus years. Everything from local cover bands to national touring. But never needed a sub of my own until I decided to start my own DJ business. I bought this mackie sr18s mainly because it was a mackie. A lot of the bands I played in on the Florida cover band scene used mackie speakers and mixers and they always did us well. Playing along the Florida beach is hard on gear but the mackie stuff holds up well. I’ve used it for dj gigs and live band application. It really brings a full richness to your sound. Plenty of punch where it counts. Mackie built like a tank!!!
