I'm SO happy I decided to purchase this mixer. For many years I have used a Bose L1 (older model) system without a Tone Match for my one person shows. I've NEVER been happy with the sound and have blamed it on the Bose. I've used 2 Behringers and one Samson mixer. This Mackie is the 4th mixer I've purchased to use for my live sound. Well, I must now apologize to the Bose company because it wasn't their product that was the problem. When I hooked my Bose into the new board everything changed. For the first time in 8 years I was happy with the sound. Actually, I was so thrilled that I hated to stop singing after 4 hours!!! It all sounded so good!! I didn't even have much time before my show to study the manual to learn all the things this little board can do! I'm looking forward to many more happy gigs with my Mackie. I'm also looking forward to using it for some recording in my home studio. For the money, you can't beat this one!

Mackie is the very best when it comes to mixers! I love this mixer because its a compact version of my Mackie ProFX8 Mixer with FX. The only thing they left out individual mute buttons per channel, unlike the Mackie ProFX8 Mixer with FX. Other than that it really helps kick it up a notch sound wise when I connect my Dj mixing midi controller to it. Very nice Mackie Mixer!
