"FX16 failed"

The inputs and outs are not always working on this studio only used mixer. We saw online that it is a ribbon connector cable issue caused by incomplete installation, but the whole unit must be taken apart to plug the cable in completely. We have always liked Mackie products, but this mixer needs to be replaced or refunded
