This sub sounds great! sounds huge with a very compact size! I DID run into a problem with it however. My circut board cut out on me after a few months of gigs. I called Mackie customer service and they were VERY helpful. I sent it out and although it took about 8 weeks to get it back i was very happy. Instead of fixing my sub, they sent me a BRAND NEW SUB!! THATS customer service and its why i stick with mackie for my live sound needs...

I bought this back at the beginning of August 2012. I was initially impressed with it till the January 2013 and have always had great luck with Mackie speakers. The amp board has went bad and has been at the shop for 2 weeks and they call me today to tell me the bad news. The bad news is the amp board is on back order and it will be 4-6 weeks before It might come in to the repair shop. So it will take apparently 8 weeks or more to repair a warranty speaker. In this business I can not have a speaker down that long. So I had to go buy another speaker and I doubt I will ever buy another mackie product again. I can not have that doubt in the back of my mind. Yes , it could happen with any speaker brand in having a go out and need repaired. I just feel 8 weeks is way too long.
