"Drums"
These Drums are great! But the cymbals are not, they sound really bad and it would be better if you invested in different ones.

"A good learning set"

I bought these drums two years ago just to have a set at the house. I played drums 25 years ago and wanted to refresh my mind. I ended up replacing heads, cymbals, and eventually the snare, though the snare was functional.i also tried different configurations of the drums, with my home studio, four piece recorded better than five piece due to tom mounting not having isolation mounts.....but all in all and after learning mic placement, these drums actually recorded way better than I thought they would......I have progressed to where I want to be, so I have recently upgraded to a Gretsch kit for versatility on my recordings. So..... These have been a good stepping stone to what I wanted, and they served my purpose very well......for beginners, a good kit to learn, for intermediate, so so, for recording at home, not bad. Just remember, quality sound comes with good heads and good tuning......I was happy with my purchase and now I'm stepping up......a good lesson to follow......
Musical Style:
All styles, thrash to country, to progressive jazz and roc
