I expect to enjoy this product for a long time. The price/value ratio is definitely the best part about it, and I plan to purchase a lot more equipment from these guys as long as they keep it up.
Sound
The action is utterly silent, no squeaks or anything.
Features
Can't ask for much more for 50 bucks. Everything is adjustable.
Ease of Use
No need for instructions, 5 minutes out of the box and you'll have it ready to play.
Quality
It really looks like it's built to last.
Value
I searched extensively and couldn't find a better value for hardware anywhere.
Manufacturer Support
Didn't have to deal with Ludwig or ZZsounds, my order was on my doorstep in a few days without any problems.
The Wow Factor
It has a unique looking double brace design, but hardware isn't usually concerned with looks.

Love the Ludwig hi-hat stand; even more impressed with the service I received from zZounds. I don't know that I even finished placing my order and the item was delivered! Will definitely buy from again...
The hi-hat stand gets 5 stars from me due to price and brand. It's not flashy, but I don't need flashy. I need sturdy, durable and reliable. That's what you get with Ludwig.

Ludwig L316HH Stand Customer Review

I was surprised when I got this stand. For the money it is very good. Of course it isn't the best stand money can buy but it is much better than I expected. I bought it for a small practice kit I have and it is more or less comparable to the much more expensive stand I use on my other kit. I also bought the snare stand and one straight stand and they are all equal nice for the money. More than heavy duty enough to gig with for a fraction of the price.

"Except for a manufacture error, it's a nice stand."
eh, i like it. it suits me. but i know people who are more dedicated than i who would be done with this in, tops, two years. I, on the other hand, have no problem with this stand, as it is solidly built and easy to use.
Sound
the stand works great (after some issues).
Features
the pedal is very responsive and quick. I recommend it for anyone upgrading from a base model hi-hat stand.
Ease of Use
the whole stand is nice. It didn't come with ANY papers, manuals, or instructions, but it was relatively straight-forward (until i needed to take it apart, cont. in "quality" section).
Quality
the pole that actually holds the cymbal had been apparently dropped during its manufacture. On both the male and female ends, there was obvious damage, but not enough to be worried (or so i though). There was a burr on the female end that made it impossible to screw in until i filed it down and forced the threads. After much work (which shouldn't have been necessary) i got it o work, and everything else on the stand is very well built, and it's very solid.
Value
definitely worth the money. it was adequately priced for a good stand (even if mine had problems).
The Wow Factor
it's pretty. it's resembles a 60s bodybuilder (kind of corny, but beefy enough to beat the living s**t out of your competition).
Musical Background:
student, active musician
