This is the beginning of my snare collection and the first new drum I ever bought so I plan on getting every penny out of it - I do plan to go for a Black Magic but the extra hundred bucks was out of my range at this time. The Bronze Rocker saved the day. I needed something really bad to replace the starter snare in my kit.
Sound
sounds great - find your sweet spot and get the tensions just right and revel in the responsiveness of this very affordable snare drum
Features
two words: bronze shell I wanted something different from what you usually see.
Ease of Use
super easy to use - guaranteed to make sounds when hit -
Quality
it's made in Taiwan - does it matter anymore? It's wearing the Ludwig badge for a reason and this drum flat out rocks! I needed to upgrade and did not have the many hundreds of dollars that so many high quality snares seem to fetch. The bang for buck ratio on this item is off the charts! I'm happy with this drum and the many sounds that can be brought out of it.
Value
value: A+ (especially if the snare stand package deal is still available) even alone this drum delivers high quality at a "nice price"...
