This is the most awesome mic stand I have ever seen, or used. It is extremely heavy duty, and made to last several lifetimes. Yes, it is expensive, but you'll NEVER need another mic stand, ever. The ease of making adjustments is great, and with h three extra boom attachments, you'll be able to mic a full drum kit, or several. guitar cabs, two acoustic guitars, and almost any other combination you could possibly think of. I'm almost ready to toss out my other stands, but they are still good for live use. I'll never use another stand in my studio again. Made in America, and built to last. Highly recommended.NOTE: I almost switched this one for the one with a 7 pound counter weight. I'm glad I didn't. This will hold my WA-47 with no problem, in any position, because every part of this stand weighs a significant amount.
