"We've Been Waiting A Long Time For This"
I expect to keep it a long time, by today's standards, it is cutting edge - IMO the direction the industry is going in.
Sound
I owned a few of the brand name nylon and electric nylon guitars back from the 60's thru the 90's that were one trick poney's with progessive neck warps, poor playability, dull sound, dull looks, wanna be tone and feedback issues.
I paid as much for them then as I paid for my variax 300 nylon that I own today.
Out of the box, the action could not have been better, the ability for me to blend and save my cherished sounds and tones are a God send. It is an attractive, smart looking instrument. When you show up with it it will speak volumes about you. I've been playing for a long time. I've owned and own a few high end guitars. The controllable sounds of the variax 300 nylon are very true and real. I call it the instrument for today's musican - Professional and up and coming with requirements for simplicity, quality and control. Steer clear of the nay sayer's. I'm in my 50's. My life experiences tell me they are stuck. Get one It's a fine instrument.
