This is, bar none, the best guitar I've ever had! I never dreamed I'd ever be owner of such a versatile instrument!... One final tip... be prepared to, perhaps, have a luthier install locking tuners as I had a bit of problems with the entonation...aside from that, almost perfect experience!
Sound
The sound is above excellent... My only "small" qualm is with the acoustic models... which need tweaking via your POD or whichever processor you use to amplify... The acoustic side tends to sound a bit "metallic"...hard to describe but I think you catch my drift... Doesn't have the warmth of a real acoustic... but does the job nonetheless...

I used a harsh cleanser and damaged the knob that has all the models written on it (they erased)... I e-mailed the company and within 2 weeks I had a replacement part no questions asked (and free of charge)!... Great support so far!

Sound
Acoustic models sound a bit 'electric'. Others are very good.
Value
Bought it in February 2004 for GBP799. A bit high for me. But on other hand, considering that most of models are very useful, - this is a very good value. I do not regret it.

Not used this one for Variax. But ones asked few questions about PODs ... took about 2 days to get a reply, not the quickest responce.
