Ill start with saying I was not a line 6 fan before this cab, I had a 2012 mesa recto 4x12 before this which unfortunately I had to sell but I can say that the comparison of sound is quite close I think I even get a bit more bass thump out of this line 6 cab, Hands down the mesa was built way better but as far as sound goes this is a great buy...the v30's sound great as well- weather they are English, or Chinese still good

I've been lately turned into the Line 6 products trough a friend that swears by them and seeing how awesome tones he gets from the products when I got my hands on a line 6 HD 147 I decided I needed a cabinet and I wanted to matched the head and wanted it with celestions vintage 30's speakers but since Line 6 doesn't have 2x12 cab that I liked, opted for this one and man does this cabinet rocks!! Since its a bottom cab "straight " it has a little bit more low end that I love without it becoming too muddy even when I play with my 7string guitar, the craftsmanship was pretty good I wished that the cab had corner bumpers but thats a minimal setback other than that I would recommend this cabinet to anyone on a budget that wants a cab with V30's.

This cabinet rocks gave my existing head and cabinet more power and great sound . In great shape got item in a timely manner lot faster than I thought. the shipping was great thought it would cost alot more to ship a item that weighted so much.
