I bought the Firehawk 1500 for a FRFR speaker for Helix. What I didnt realize at the time was that it is a great sounding tone machine on its own too! And with the cloud available in the editor, there are almost unlimited sounds available. So, best of both worlds here. I can run Helix into the L/R monitor inputs, and send a send from Helix into the Guitar input of the Firehawk 1500 for that special Wet/Dry/Wet setting. Sweet!

Just got my Firehawk 1500 as a self birthday present on June 6th. I was looking for something that would not only suite my needs on stage ,but would also lend itself well to studio use. Being an ERG player (I play 7,8,and 9 string guitars) I needed something that can handle my low end. The Firehawk does that. It's full range speaker system is more than capable of putting out every sound I throw at it, no matter what volume. It's also a direct to DAW interface in and of itself. The sound quality is amazing. And with my iPad mini I can control all the parameters that it has to offer which allows me to dial in any sound I'm looking for. The amp models and effects are top notch. After playing a line6 pod xt live for a few years, this is a definite step up. Plan on buying a fbv 3 soon, which will make stage function a breeze with this thing. This a a great amp, for any situation you can imagine. Yes it is heavy though. That's the only down side, which really isn't a big deal for me.

"Firehawk 1500 Guitar Combo"

The dream of owning a stereo amp in one combo, a la the venerable Roland JC-120, is truly realized with this amp. Add on top of that the wet/dry/wet setup and this amp can truly sound amazing.
Sound
Modeling amps sound like a mic'd up rig coming through studio monitors at best. Lots of low end and can handle a bass no problem. I've even used it for keyboards and regularly use it for guitar synth and acoustic. It is absolutely the best amp for these situations.
Features
The Bluetooth is a life saver being able to play tracks with full fidelity on a solo gig all with one combo.
Ease of Use
Programming is much easier than previous Line 6 gear.
Quality
Build quality is this amps Achilles Heal as the knobs are cheap plastic and easily destroyed. Also the amp cover scratches at the lightest touch making a new amp look old.
Value
I own two of these combos well worth the price. The FBV 3 is a must have with this amp.
Manufacturer Support
I have used the Line 6 warranty with no issues getting this amp fixed.
The Wow Factor
This amp is super heavy but for worship service or anything with a permanent installation this amp is near perfect.

I bought this amp in 2019. I have used it every day since. It is great for giging although it is heavy. I'd recommend the rolling case. I've used it for acoustic and electric performance and it sounds great for both. I use it regularly for track as well. The Line6 cloud and Firehawk app are great features. The app in unstable though and has a hard time connecting to my Line6 account. It'll connected to the amp bluetooth to play audio consistently but has a hard time connecting for editing. The sound options on this amp are limitless especially with access to the cloud. Overall, This a great do it all amplifier.

This amp has so many thing going on it was taking away from me actual practice .found a couple ok amp simulations in there . Do you self a favor and just buy a tube amp like a blackstar stage 60 or even a club 40 if you want to play guitar and sound like a pro dont just simulate the sound burn some tube and make it real.....So much better so you don't get use to using toy amps.....TUBES ARE THE WAY TO GO
